The leading retailer of construction materials, finishes and hardware with a network of 20 shops nationwide has entrusted KONVEX with the design and development of storage and order picking solutions for its new Distribution Centre located in Tocumén (Panama). This centre is responsible for supplying the network of shops, carrying out the tasks of goods reception, classification, storage and order preparation.
KONVEX has equipped this centre with Pallet Rack and Pallet Rack combined with Flow Rack solutions. The combination of Pallet Rack with Flow Rack in one of the alignments has enabled order picking quickly and efficiently, in addition to shortening the flow of operator movements within the warehouse. It should also be noted that this combination allows taking advantage of the height available for pallet storage.
