Flow Rack
Modern and efficient solution for easy, quick and ergonomic order picking
The system flow rack is a dynamic system ideal for fast, ergonomic and reliable order picking and preparation operations. Its design allows a compact storage and a perfect visibility of goods.
This system consists of picking modules with inclined roller levels. They have a loading side and an unloading side, where the products that are deposited on the upper part slide to the end that leads to the exit aisle.
The system flow rack is very versatile and can be configured in various ways according to requirements.
Simple configuration
This construction is the simplest. It has one entrance and one exit, and all levels have the same depth.
Presenter + protractor
This combination is one of the most common due to its ergonomics. The inclined end levels (presenter) improve the operator's visibility while preparing orders. In addition, the belt or roller conveyor is perfectly suited to this system allowing the movement of prepared and complete products.
Conveyors in the aisle
In this combination, module rows are formed, leaving a sufficiently wide aisle for the installation of a central conveyor that moves the prepared orders to the dispatch areas.
Pallet rack + flow rack
In this case, the available height is used to create a storage buffer on the upper levels with pallet racks, which are responsible for feeding the lower levels for picking orders made up of flow racks. This configuration is very common, as it takes advantage of all the space in height.
Push back + flow rack
This application is designed on the basis of a central order picking tunnel that uses the upper levels for storage with a dynamic push-back system. It follows the LIFO principle which, thanks to the fast pallet management, ensures availability for fast and efficient order picking.
